The cottage is perfectly placed for exploring Aylsham itself and the many visitor attractions, beaches and stately homes nearby. Blickling Hall is less than 4 minutes drive, around 25 minutes walk along the pretty Weavers Way footpath. Cyclists and walkers love it here, with many footpaths and quiet roads to explore. A home from home, and dog friendly too.
All our guests receive luxury toiletries, linens, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels, tea, coffee, milk and a surprise or two on arrival.
Livingroom
Cosy, stylish room with two very comfortable sofas and large footstool. A Smart TV which you can login to your Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, Amazon Prime etc subscriptions. There’s a stash of books in the cabinet, plenty of extra blankets, and two baskets of toys and games to keep all ages entertained. The under stairs cupboard holds a highchair, baby gates, baby bath and hand held vacuum.
Kitchen
The cottage has a brand new, fully equipped kitchen with butler sink, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a dining table that seats four and everything you’ll need for your self catering stay.
Boot room
We have a large boot room at the back of the house that is perfect for muddy boots and sandy paws! Great storage for prams, golf clubs and bicycles too.
Bedroom 1 is a pretty double room with a very cute wardrobe. There’s a chest of drawers, dressing table, hairdryer, heat mat, and an iron and small board in the wardrobe.
Bedroom 2, the pink room. A double bed, chest of drawers, hairdryer, heat mat and wall hanging space with vintage hangers.
Bedroom 3 has a single bed, hanging space and a trunk that doubles up as storage and bedside table. There’s a travel cot stored under the bed.
Bathroom
The spacious, stylish bathroom has a large traditional free-standing corner shower bath and overhead shower, WC and wash basin. Luxury toiletries are supplied.
Garden
A very large enclosed lawn garden, secure and safe for children and dogs. There is an old outbuilding right at the bottom of the garden that’s empty but has no door on it, which can also be used for bike storage.

There is plenty of on street parking at the property.

Aylsham is a thriving market town with many independent shops and a great foodie scene. Perfectly located for city, coast and country walks, being just 20 mins from Cromer, 25 minutes from Sheringham, 20 minutes from Holt and 35 mins from Norwich. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and many excellent pubs and restaurants.
Monday and Friday are market days in town with a mix of food and household stalls. The first Saturday of each month is a food and craft market, full of local suppliers and artisan producers.
